Tough Stuff
Tough Stuff training is for local children and youth workers and is led by Listening People
It aims to give them confidence to offer support to a young person struggling with bereavement or any significant loss including parental separation. The training aims to equip workers to understand and respond to some of the challenging and complex behaviours being expressed by young people.
The training is led by Pete English a youth and schools worker and a BACP accredited counsellor who has been working in a variety of youth work settings for over 30 years. Pete has trained many Christian organisations, the NHS, Department for Education, schools and mental health services. He currently works as a counsellor in secondary schools and is Executive Director of Listening People – from AtaLoss.org, a charity committed to ensuring that those who have suffered loss find the support that they need.
There are two training events taking place one is aimed at youth workers (https://tctwarwick.co.uk/event/tough-stuff-training-day) and the other for children’s workers (https://tctwarwick.co.uk/event/tough-stuff-for-children).
