Supporting our Schools!
TCTW continues to support our local schools although we can't physically be in school with our 1:1 mentoring teams and social and emotional support courses.
Here for you!
We know teachers and pupils are having such a difficult time at the moment and we are here for them in anyway, we can be of help.
We have provided local schools with food parcels for families on free school meals during the Easter and May half term holidays. We are also working on big plans to upscale our food project to support families throughout the summer period.
As we are unable to come into school and provide 1:1 support for pupils we have offered to provide professional councilors for those pupils whose mental health and well-being has significantly deteriorated during lock-down. We are thinking of you and praying for you during this difficult time.
We are unable to provide our Lost (bereavement and loss) course at the moment, yet so may of our young people are experiencing bereavement. We have been working with the brilliant Learning Support Team at Aylesford Secondary School to see how we can still support those who need help.
We have provided the school with copies of the amazing Tough Stuff Journal produced by At a Loss so staff can work through them together with students.
