Woodloes Celebration

We were so pleased to see over 100 people join us for our Woodloes Community Celebration organised in partnership with Warwick District Council with help from the Woodloes Tavern and local business owners Chet & Beena!

Thanks to everyone who gave us their feedback and responded positively to the opportunity to get the community together and discuss how we could do this on a more permanent basis out of a community led Cafe on the estate.

So many residents commented how nice it was to have an excuse to get together and our pop up cafe with home made cakes was very popular! A highlight of the cafe was a visit from one of the estates oldest residents, Olive aged 99, who came out especially for the occasion having not been out the house for months due to illness! She watched on as Lauren from The Gap ran some great craft activities for adults.

The Woodloes youngsters had plenty to entertain them too with a bouncy castle, face painter and a sock puppet craft run by the local Messy Church Team. Adults and children alike all enjoyed the delicious hot dogs provided by the Woodloes Tavern on an unusually warm October day!
