Bereavement Support
TCTW became aware of the overwhelming need for bereavement support in the town through conversations with Warwickshire County Council, Cruse and local chaplains and funeral directors.
We facilitate a bereavement support group for adults on the last Tuesday of the month. It is led by experienced facilitators and refreshments (tea & cake) are served by a team of trained volunteer listeners.
Participants attend 6 sessions and develop friendship and support networks that enable them to move on from the group. If attendees still feel they need support beyond the 6 month period we will endeavor to signpost and help them to access further appropriate support.
The group takes place 1-2.30pm at Chase Meadow Community Centre Narrow Hall Meadow, Warwick, CV34 6BT

I was in a very bad place when I joined the group due to the loss of my husband. I didn't think I would ever feel better. The group was amazing, it was the first place I laughed since he died! It really helped me to turn a corner, so much so, I no longer need to keep going.
